23rd and 24 the August 2012.
The Falcons are based at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire and each year they complete a number of displays at air shows, sporting events and many other special occasions. They have become famous for their unique stack formation and look forward to seeing 2012 Line ups to see if they will be visiting Clacton once again.
Sandcastle competition
West Beach - Clacton Pier enjoys being the Sponsor of this annual event, the Sandcastle Competition is for children up to the age of 14. Prizes awarded for best sandcastle in 3 age groups: 6 years and under; 7‑9 years; 10‑14 years and pairs.

Dream 100 @ The Pier
Clacton Pier support the local radio station Dream 100 - Sponsor of the Stations Weather forecast, a very import factor the Pier for Outside Rides in the Summer. Dream Roadrunner Girls are familiar faces when coming down to the pier and are included in most events at the Pier including the Main Event Fireworks displays with The Dream 100 Roadshow, The Opening of the Lanes Tenpin Bowling , and Peppa Pig Days.
Live entertainment
On the terrace on the front of the pier (Boardwalk outside seating area) for every Sunday afternoon throughout the summer holidays (weather permitting).
